We had a lovely stay to celebrate New Year, and the accommodation was clean, light and warm. It was a two night visit. The beach is just a minute away, though it was full of visitors. So many bars were closed at this time of year. This would be a great place to stay in summer.

Perfect location in the heart of La Couarde, close to the beach, restaurants, and funfair. The residence has well-designed terraced houses with gardens, plus indoor parking, a heated pool, a games room that’s great for children with table football and table tennis, and bicycle storage.

Marie (the owner) offered us compensation on her own initiative, which was empathetic and generous of her. Thank you. We had a rainy, cold week, and construction started very early each morning right next to the residence, so it wasn’t exactly relaxing. The apartment was thoughtfully designed and fully equipped, including Wi-Fi, a terrace and furniture. The bedding was excellent.
