Hortensias

The hostess was the real highlight. We spent a good while chatting with her in the morning, and she was so helpful. She also returned something we’d forgotten promptly, without any hesitation. We can’t wait to come back. The house is a peaceful Breton retreat, surrounded by lovely countryside. The rooms fit right in, spacious, nicely decorated, and very quiet. Breakfast was very good, especially the delicious, unusual homemade jams.

I wish I could have stayed longer. Peggy made us feel so welcome, with a warm, easygoing kindness that I really loved. The rooms were spacious and spotless, the beds were excellent, and everything was wonderfully quiet. What a peaceful setting :) Thanks again, Peggy!! If you're in the area, this is a lovely place to stay.

The spa was a lovely extra for unwinding after a long day. We were very comfortable in the room, which had a bathtub, and breakfast was generous and homemade. Peggy is a delightful host. Such a wonderful find for couples.

We’ll definitely be back after such an enjoyable stay. Peggy was very helpful, and her breakfast was just the comforting start we needed. The rooms are practical and tastefully decorated. She also recommended La Table d'Ô, where the food, atmosphere, and service were all excellent.
