Hotel L Orangeraie

First, I should apologize for leaving a negative review on Expedia by mistake. Those comments were meant for another hotel. This place has a breathtaking view and is beautiful, to say the least. The rooms are spacious, fairly clean, and comfortable. The bathroom could use improvement, but the fabulous view makes up for its shortcomings. The staff are pleasant and very helpful. If you're after peace and serenity, I'd highly recommend it.

The pool area is lovely and relaxed, and breakfast was a very nice continental spread. The hotel keeps its old charm, while being perfectly clean and having friendly staff. Lovely place. Would come back. Merci

The morning staff member was personable and very efficient, and some of the staff were pleasant. But I wouldn't return. The hotel looks wonderful outside, while the inside needs a complete upgrade: chipped tiles, carpet tiles coming loose, and doors and skirting boards that need a good paint. We stayed three days, and the girl at the desk wasn't very approachable. She seemed to spend most of the time reading or looking at the computer, and forgot to give us the code for getting back into the hotel after dinner. She also seemed surprised when we asked her to arrange a taxi one evening. She only had one number, couldn't get through, and gave us the number to try later.

The place is gorgeous, with great views and a good location. The bedding wasn't comfortable.
