What stayed with me most about our night at the Hôtel La Cigale was how warmly we were received. The owner treated us like people he truly wanted to welcome, with genuine, caring kindness and no fuss. After a long drive, that meant a lot. The person serving breakfast was just as warm the next morning. Our room was magnificent, with quality materials and thoughtful decor, and the hotel is very well located. For this part of France, the value is unbeatable. We were so glad to find this place.

I travel regularly, and this is a very beautiful place with staff who are ready to help. But some guests who book through one site or another arrive very late and make an incredible racket. A herd would have been quieter. They had a dog, which isn't allowed here, and let it bark on the stairs while people were asleep. They wouldn't listen when anyone spoke to them or accept a comment. Their car was impounded because parking in the square on market day is forbidden. So when the owner sometimes complains, there's a reason. You need the full story behind some reviews. J. Luc

Great location, free parking, and reversible air conditioning and heating. The hotel is very pleasant, the staff are incredibly friendly and efficient, and the room had everything we needed. Breakfast was very good too. Mr. and Mrs. Pichon

My husband and I don't speak much English, and even less French, but the owners helped us feel comfortable. They're incredibly kind and friendly. The property is well placed, close to the sea, and Saint-Tropez is about a twenty-minute drive away.
