The vineyard views were beautiful, and the staff were lovely and went out of their way to accommodate us. We took the tour and tasting, and can’t recommend it enough. Such a wonderful winery!

Great wine, and the sparkling wine and rosé are fabulous. Google Maps takes you to the winery, but the cellar and tasting location is shown on their website, directly opposite villas du domaine de la Madrague. 83420 La Croix-Valmer, France

Our favorite wine from La Croix Valmer. We bring it home to the Netherlands and never order anything else. The Rose o’clock event was nice, too.

A fabulous Bio Vineyard producing beautiful wines in the AOC. Maybe they were the first in the area to go organic? Being so close to the sea, with its warm, dry winds, seems to leave the vines among the healthiest you can find. Since it’s a relatively small producer, they focus on high-quality grapes and organic practices, and each type of wine feels special. The wines are named after the owner’s children and grandchildren, which makes them feel more personal to buyers and to those lucky enough to discover this producer. I’m no expert, but I choose wine from the heart. Try the wines, or take the tour with Sonia, a local guide. You can find her on Airbnb.
