The setting is stunning, and having the seafront mobile homes just a couple of metres from the sea was amazing. The view changes with the tides and weather during the day, but it's always beautiful. Our time at Camping des Violettes was such a fun, sociable stay. The modern, comfortable mobile homes worked well for our family, and it was easy to live together without getting in each other's way. Everything was very clean, and the shared areas were thoughtfully laid out. We could sit outside with a cold beer and keep an eye on the kids having fun. We also really enjoyed the restaurant. The pizza and burgers were favorites, and the ingredients seemed good quality, with great beef and burger buns made by a ‘boulanger’. The people running the site made a real difference too. The young team were friendly, genuine, and professional. Mathis and Lola were a credit to the campsite and much loved by the kids, while Manuel kept everything running smoothly. Hope we can come back soon. Long live Camping des Violettes!

We loved it! The place is lovely, right beside the sea, with beautiful views. Both villages are an easy walk or just a few minutes away by bike. Facilities are nice, and the staff are helpful and friendly.

There's a pool and a bar at this nice little site in Faute sur Mer, and a footpath and cycle route starts right outside and goes into town, where you'll find bars and restaurants. Self-catering is manageable too, with a couple of supermarkets 15-20 minutes away by car. The “vans” are 20ft units with basic amenities. They're not really designed for living in, more as somewhere to rest between days out at the beaches and local sights.

Internet access cost almost as much as robbery, and the booking fee was far too high. I'd rather have free internet and booking, with a higher chalet price instead. That would be much easier to understand.

A good campsite near the sea. One little letdown, you can't rent towels, so remember to bring your own!
