Just okay.

The cottage was cold even though I'm from the north, and there's barely any heating. Showering was another problem, with very little water and none of it properly hot. I spent a weekend there and came away disappointed. There are just two windows, so it feels really dark, and the owner makes promises he doesn't keep. The price is absolutely unjustified.

The owner was wonderfully welcoming and friendly, and shared plenty of ideas for local things to do and places to visit. We had a very good stay in the all-brick cottage.

We still have very fond memories of La Ferté Imbault. The village is so welcoming, and having shops nearby was a real advantage. In Sologne, we had a very pleasant stay, and appreciated the owner's warm welcome, discretion, and information about the region and things to do.

A peaceful spot close to nature, with shops within easy reach. The cottage was really pleasant and quiet, and the owner was friendly and discreet, kindly taking care of all our requests. Highly recommended.
