Camping Les Peupliers

The staff were lovely, both at reception and in the bar. Reception were very helpful, and you can order fresh croissants for breakfast. It's a lovely caravan site, with bikes for hire, a swimming pool, sauna, and steam room.

The holiday home was clean and had everything we needed. The camping site is superbly located, just a few minutes from La Flotte. We could also easily see the firework show at La Flotte on Sat 10th August from the site. Highly recommended.

My kids loved the pool, bouncy house, and mini disco, while my husband and I enjoyed the pool too and had our nightly cocktail as they danced. The grounds felt safe, so we were comfortable letting the children roam around on their own. The location was handy for La Flotte and S Martin, whether walking, cycling, or driving. The staff were wonderful, and the families we met were lovely. My children speak only English and Spanish, but they made friends with French, British, and Irish children on holiday there. I love that, and I know they'll remember it for years. We had a lovely vacation.

The kids club staff were a real hit with our 7 year old, and the staff in general were friendly and helpful, with maybe one minor exception. The pool facilities were great, the bikes were in good condition, and the Premium mobile's air conditioning was much appreciated. The on-site shop and cafe were well equipped and reasonably priced. We'd researched a lot before going and weren't disappointed. We've stayed on Ile De Re before, and this was the better of the two sites. It made a perfect base for exploring the islands, with great local restaurants and sightseeing attractions. We'd consider coming back, though the beaches on the other side of the island are superior. We stayed in the mobile home at site 164. We got morning sun there rather than evening sun, so next time we might choose the other side to switch that around. Based on our stay, I'd highly recommend it.
