We stayed with the family, and the staff did all they could to make us comfortable. Breakfast was lovely. I wish I'd booked the evening meal sooner, as it was already full. We'd like to come back sometime.

We came at the end of the summer holidays, so things were very quiet. Our room was great, with direct access to the beach, and the pool was a good size with pleasant seating areas. The location is stunning for a sunset walk along the shore. The staff were excellent and kindly changed my reservation at short notice. The restaurant happened to be closed the day we visited, but there are good places to eat nearby.

It's in a great spot, and the staff are friendly, but the hotel has a lot to do if it wants to hold on to its four stars. Maintenance is lacking: the tennis court, pool and terrace all need redoing. Rooms need air conditioning, mosquito doors and a way to lock doors while keeping the room ventilated at night. It would also help to offer more services, like lunch sandwiches, drinks and snacks from 15-19 hrs, and extras such as canoes. Those things would make a longer stay more appealing, especially for international visitors.

A beautiful hotel in a lovely setting. The staff were fantastic, spoke English brilliantly and were incredibly helpful. Renting bikes for a day was simple and fun. I'd happily visit again.
