There's a nice atmosphere, and the walls around the bar have lots of local information. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and the restaurant food came out hot and freshly cooked. We thought it was excellent and will definitely go back. A lovely place, highly recommend it.

Le Haye was a charming little town and a convenient place to have dinner and rest between the two tourist areas. My wife and I were travelling through Normandy, then continuing west to Mont St. Michel, and this affordable hotel and restaurant was just what we wanted. The food was delicious too.

The atmosphere is great, and Betty and the rest of the staff are lovely. We always make a point of eating at Le Commerce when we come to France, and sometimes stay there as well. The authentic food is consistently delicious and well prepared. We’d highly recommend it, you won’t be disappointed.

It’s good to see two vegetarian options on the menu now, and hopefully they’ll add more over time. That’s a welcome change from when a vegetarian friend was told to remove the burger from the bun and just eat the bun 😣. I always enjoy the steak here, while my husband goes for the pork or lamb chops.

The food was really good, and we liked that there were a few vegetarian options too. It’s a nice bar and restaurant right in the middle of La Haye du puits, with very friendly staff who spoke English.
