Les Grandes Fontaines

Those starry nights were beautiful, and the place was so peaceful. Michael gave us a really warm welcome when I arrived with my two daughters. The accommodation was clean, well-equipped, and had a magnificent view. We could enjoy breakfast and meals with local produce and seasonal fruit and vegetables from the garden on the terrace, in the accommodation, or in the house. There was plenty for the girls too, with a well-stocked playroom, sheep, and four charming little black pigs. We had an excellent stay, and my daughters were delighted.

The cottage worked perfectly for my husband, who uses walking sticks. We were welcomed so warmly, and the natural setting with those breathtaking views of the Vosges mountains made this a lovely stay. Thank you.

We had delicious breakfast, and dinner was available as an option. The host was super enthusiastic and friendly. Such a peaceful, beautiful spot, with stunning views. A wonderful stay.

We spent four wonderful nights in the lovely house near the B&B, with our family of five young adults. You can relax on its spacious terrace or use the meadows out front, and the views over the Vosges mountains and hills are stunning. It's wonderfully quiet, on a small road, and the area around it is still quite unspoiled. We took a few lovely walks and found it a great place to unwind, though we'd originally planned it as a long stopover. It definitely makes us want to come back. Breakfast was served each morning on the B&B terrace, with local and homemade food: fresh goat cheese, tasty jams, eggs, and fresh juice. Everything came with a big smile and a friendly chat, plus a fantastic view. The kittens kept charming us, and the dog would stand there with a questioning look and a blade of grass in its mouth, hoping we'd throw it. We had dinner with them one evening too. First gazpacho, then a lovely barbecue with lots of sides, a cheese board full of local varieties that made me very happy as a cheese lover, and homemade cherry pie.
