The place brings a friendly feel to the village of La Machine, and the staff were both professional and welcoming. I’d definitely recommend it.

We sat on the street-side terrace in the shade, and the traffic didn’t bother us much. The food was tasty and worked well for the kids, with quick service and really good value. It’s a handy restaurant to eat at before or after the Mining Museum, and we came back for a drink afterward too. Thanks again for the syrups and water! 😉

The daily menu changes with the seasons, and the prices are very reasonable. It’s a real landmark in the heart of La Machine, with retirees, families, and people out on Saturday night all gathering along the lively, cheerful street. The staff are so attentive, quick, efficient, and always smiling. Thank you, and keep up the hard work. It must take a lot!

I tried it for lunch on a Monday. Everything is homemade, and the price is very reasonable: 15 euros for two main courses, or 18 euros with dessert. I recommend it!
