There are plenty of places to eat nearby, though it's about 20 minutes from the center. The room was a normal size, the beds and duvet were comfortable, and everything was clean and working. Great shower, too. My only small gripe was that the shower room light switch is on the wrong side of the door.

The staff are lovely with my parents, who I can't fit into my tiny place. Great people.

Handy for the ferry port, and the hotel itself was nice. The room felt cold at first, but the heating warmed it up pretty quickly. Unfortunately, that made the food smell in the room stronger. It may have been from room service for the previous guest, but it wasn't a pleasant thing to walk into.

The bedroom was neat and clean, and the staff made us feel welcome. The shower room had an unpleasant smell, though, and water leaked out onto the floor.

Breakfast had a good range of food, and the staff were friendly. The hotel is simple but clean and comfortable, with most basic things covered. A kettle for hot water would have been useful.
