La Filuzière

Florence and her daughter gave us useful suggestions and were so friendly and helpful. The gite had all the comforts and equipment we needed. After days out exploring Normandy, it was nice to unwind by the pellet stove or sit in the lovely garden. We had a fantastic week at Gite de La Filuziere. Highly recommended!

Florence greeted us with homemade jams, potatoes, figs, eggs from their own chickens, and flowers from the garden. There was also cider, apple juice, and water in the fridge, plus a wrapped chew toy for our dog. We felt so welcome bringing the dog along, and the kids especially enjoyed feeding the chickens each evening before going back to the trampoline. The garden is huge and beautiful, carefully laid out by Florence, and the old 18th-century bakery sits in lovely natural surroundings away from La Mouche. The cottage is modern, thoughtfully furnished down to the smallest detail, tidy, and very clean. We were comfortable there, and it had everything we could want. Florence is warm and always happy to help or offer advice. The quiet setting is great for relaxing away from the tourist crowds. We also went sightseeing and did activities, but were always glad to come back to our little hideaway. If you want to do Florence a favor, book through gites-de-france.com rather than Booking.com. This place is a real hidden gem, and we'd stay again if we're back in the area.

Florence, the owner, shared some really useful ideas for things to do, which made an already lovely stay even better. The cottage is modern and in immaculate condition, with high-quality furnishings and everything we needed. We felt at home right away. We had a wonderful time in Manche. The garden and park are such a treat, with magnificent trees, masses of flowers, and plenty of quiet corners to relax in. Inside, the house is beautiful and charming, tastefully decorated, very clean, and surprisingly well supplied, with nothing missing. Florence and Massimo are delightful, and the thoughtful welcome touches deserve a special mention. If you love beautiful places, don't hesitate.
