The staff were great, the family room was amazing, and you can't get closer to the piste. A triple room would be cramped for a week, though. Breakfast was spot on, but dinner could use more choice. You can hear noise from upstairs guests, and if you're on the mountain side, the piste basher beeps can carry. The massage was really good, and I'd definitely stay again.

We've stayed twice for half-term skiing, and both visits were excellent. Breakfast and dinner had plenty of choice and good-quality food. The bar area is nice and has lots to keep the kids busy. The pool and spa are a real bonus. You're right on the slopes and a five-minute walk from the centre.

The location is excellent and the staff were lovely, but I wouldn't recommend this hotel. For five-star prices, it feels like a two-star place. The buffet was very poor and almost the same every morning and evening. Even the pizza looked like it had been made from leftovers. The showers are just a shower head over a bath, and there are only 30 ski lockers for around 80 rooms.

Our large family room was clean and nice, with a lovely view of the slopes. Not every room has that view. The staff were pleasant and always helped when we had questions or needed something. The ski shop is on the lowest floor; it gets a bit crowded in the morning, but the equipment was good and the service was helpful. We visited at the start of the ski season.

The food was some of the best I've ever had in a hotel, absolutely perfect. We had a fantastic week, and the staff were kind and very helpful. A brilliant place to stay in La Plagne, highly recommended.
