L'ESTAGNON

Aniel gave us a warm welcome. Our room was spacious, pleasant, and tastefully decorated, and we felt at ease there. We really enjoyed the meals and breakfasts we shared. The food was exceptional, and the conversations and time together added so much to our stay. There was a real generosity and sincerity that we won't forget. We hope our paths cross again, and maybe we'll meet Madame, the wonderful cook. Elise and Yoann

We had a lovely two-night stay at this B&B. Our host cooked excellent evening meals and spent time telling us about the island's treasures. Thanks again for those conversations and the stay. We'll definitely come back.

L'Estagnon is a lovely base for a trip through the island's highlands, with a great location near the volcano road, Grand Bassin, and the magnificent Blue Lava Tunnel, which kokapat recommended =) The food is great too. Aniel and Patricia are warm, genuine hosts, just how we like them. Highly recommended, and keep doing what you're doing! Rudy

This was the best guesthouse of our vacation. The room was spacious and accessible for people with disabilities, a real plus, and we slept so well. From the cozy terrace, we watched a beautiful sunset. The hosts are lovely, and the food is excellent. Nearly all the ingredients come from the garden and are cooked perfectly. We had a wonderful evening here. If you're in Plaine des Caffres before or after climbing Piton de la Fournaise, come to L'Estagnon!
