It was quiet and good value, and the owners were helpful. When our vehicle gave us trouble, they let us postpone our departure. She didn't speak much English and my French is rubbish, but we managed to understand each other! I gave 4 stars because the pool wasn't open until July.

We found the hosts very friendly and helpful, and the campsite was peaceful. It has all the facilities you need for a motorhome, plus a good location for walking and cycling, with the coast and local villages easy to reach. I'd recommend staying here.

There are lots of cycling and walking routes, and plenty of recycling points and bins. We stayed in a camper, and the pitches could use a spruce-up. All the campers lost electricity on Sunday morning, though I don't know if that happens regularly. Campers can't use the pool next door, but the kids can go to the playground. We didn't try the bar.

The place is lovely, near a beautiful forest, and the service was nice. There were a lot of mosquitoes at night, though.

One night in a tent with my bike cost 16.50 plus 2 euros. That's crazy.
