I was there for just one night, on 3rd August, and La Maison Des Officiers was very, very good. The place was spotlessly clean, the beds were comfortable and the bathroom was great. There’s plenty of secure parking, and the location is superb. Breakfast was more than adequate and reasonably priced. Great value, well deserving of a 5 star rating, and I’ll definitely stay again.

We’ll definitely come back for another stay. The Maison des Officiers was a great fit for our family holiday, with 9 of us spending a night by Lake Der. The building and comfortable rooms were lovely, and the breakfast service was just as good. It’s also ideally placed near shops and amenities, as well as the natural areas around the lake.

I’ve stayed at the Officers' House twice now for work. It’s a lovely guesthouse somewhere peaceful, and the welcome makes you feel at ease straight away. The breakfast is superb too. I highly recommend it.

The two Corinnes are kind and attentive, and the rooms are excellent value for money. This welcoming guesthouse is a beautiful conversion of a former national stud farm, peaceful and a real change of scenery. It’s perfectly located near Lac du Der and the surrounding area. Go without hesitation!
