Loge & Broc

The grounds are spacious, and the 18th century mansion is a lovely, peaceful place to stay. It’s easy to settle into a chair with a good book, and there’s also a huge family tent available at reasonable prices. chateau de serrant is 2km away and well worth a visit, with Angers and other sightseeing nearby.

Laure made us feel at home, and we’ll definitely come back. The location was beautiful, clean, and felt like a real French country villa. Our room was lovely, furnished with antiques in good taste. She treated us to a fantastic dinner and a superb breakfast, with the table laid out like a 5-star restaurant. Thank you, Laure!

Meh. We stayed in June in the small upstairs room. The house is pretty, but it’s close to the railway line, so there’s quite a bit of noise. The main problem was the party Laure’s son had in the garden. We’d called her the day before, and she didn’t mention it, though I think it was important information. We couldn’t sleep until late. Breakfast was a bit disappointing, too. It’s a shame, because Laure is a really nice and interesting person, but that alone doesn’t make a good B&B.
