La Petite Maison Basse Corréo

The house was nicely looked after and decorated with good taste. We had a really pleasant stay, and the owner was friendly and quick to respond.

Everything was furnished with great taste, and the view was magnificent. Such a lovely place, with everything needed for a very pleasant stay.

We won't be coming back. The place has some real charms: it's a little cottage high up in a peaceful, secluded spot, with a lovely view and a spacious living area that's nicely decorated. The real name is: La petite maison Basse Corréo (visited in April 2026) But there were too many problems for us. The beds were uncomfortable because the mattresses are very worn, and the sofa was uncomfortable too, with a broken backrest. The TV was tiny and poor quality, just mediocre. Some basic things were missing or unusable. There was no hairdryer or corkscrew, and the vegetable peeler was completely broken. The listing on Expedia said towels and soap/shower gel were provided, but there wasn't even a little dish soap. To use the Nordic bath, we had to bring our own firewood, which the listing hadn't mentioned. Cleanliness was okay, though the garbage bag was dirty and already used when we arrived. There were also lots of cigarette butts on the terrace and in the grass in front of the cottage. Maybe previous guests had left them, but it didn't feel welcoming, and they could have been cleaned up. Of the two lounge chairs, one was unusable, with only the frame left, as shown in the photo. Too bad...
