Les Bords de Seine

The village and its setting are lovely. As others have said, spending some money on the building itself would address what needs attention.

After a workday, this is a relaxing place to spend the evening. It’s between a beautiful castle and the Seine, and it’s my favorite hotel west of Paris. The food is great, with typically French cuisine. I’d recommend it for business trips or private holidays.

We arrived at this restaurant at 13h30 while spending the weekend in la roche guyon. There were no outdoor tables available, so one server told us to come back in 30mn and said there would be a place. When we returned half an hour later, a different server spoke to us in a very bad tone and said service was over. The first server said he wasn’t the decision maker. Even worse, five minutes later the restaurant director came out and simply told us service was over, without seeming sorry at all. I’ve never had this kind of service before. I’d give it zero stars.

We didn’t stay at the hotel, just had lunch at the restaurant, and it was wonderful, beyond what we expected. The food was beautiful, there was a great choice, and the service was super nice. It was a lovely surprise. I’d definitely recommend it.
