The restaurant was amazing. We had an incredible meal, and the waitstaff were friendly and helpful. The food was delicious, and I’d absolutely visit again. Our car broke down on the highway, and roadside assistance towed us to Saint-Menehould. The hotel took us in for two nights without a reservation, and we had pets with us. The staff were incredibly kind and helped us translate with the mechanic. Our room was clean, comfortable, and spacious, and breakfast was excellent. I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. If you’re in the area, definitely stay here.

The staff showed a great deal of trust in my family, which was a welcome change from most hotels these days. We chose this hotel only because it was halfway to our destination on a cross-European road trip, and we couldn’t be happier with the accommodations. It’s a hidden gem of France, with a clean, welcoming place to relax during a trip. I’d recommend it to anyone who needs that. I’m not sure when we’ll make it back to Europe, but we’ll definitely want to stay here when we do. Thank y’all so much!

Parking in the square next to the hotel was easy, and it’s just minutes from the motorway. We found this place by luck on our way from Black Forest to Calais, but it would also suit anyone heading to the North or West of France. The staff were very welcoming, the room spotless, and the restaurant food and service impeccable. We’ll most definitely come back. THANK YOU!

The new hotel is terrific, modern, and stylish, and the new wine boutique is lovely. I’ve been coming here for 25+ years, and the food is always outstanding, never a mistake. Traditional French food with Michelin quality, interest, and invention. The wine list is outstanding too. We stayed twice in May. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful, and the staff were super. Thank you for two superb nights, dinners, and breakfasts! Do try the Pied de Cochon, it’s the town speciality.

The stars reflect the price and location. We stayed last year on the way back from the UK to Italy, and look forward to staying again in April, on the way to the UK and on our return to Italy. The restaurant was very good, the room very clean, and parking was opposite the hotel.
