I loved unwinding in the garden, especially the seat beneath the old willow, a lovely spot to read with a glass of wine on a warm day. Barry and Kim were warm and generous hosts, and the continental breakfast was delicious each morning. The house is full of charm and beautifully decorated, with a peaceful feel throughout. Everything was spotless, including my bedroom and bathroom, which were cleaned daily. It’s only a two-minute walk from the Leggett training center. I’d happily come back when I’m in the region.

We had a really comfortable two-night stay, and the breakfast was delicious. Our room was lovely, with soft beds, a great shower, and tea and coffee on hand. Kim and Barry are such nice people and made us feel very welcome. We’ll definitely visit Maison du Pont again next time we’re in the area.

I’d make a detour to stay here again. The four nights I spent here while training across the river were great from start to finish. Barry and Kim welcomed me warmly, and the rooms were comfortable and spotless. The breakfast was beautifully laid out and delicious, and the communication before I arrived was excellent too. A real gem, thank you both.

The room had plenty of space and everything I needed, and the location by the river worked perfectly for the course I was attending. Kim and Barry, a charming couple, gave me a lovely welcome. The place is immaculate, with loads of character and original features. A top place to stay. I hope I get to see them again. Thank you, Kim and Barry!

A picnic by the lake under the willow in the evening was simply wonderful. Kim and Barry were incredibly kind hosts, even when I accidentally spilled red wine on their bed. They weren’t bothered, and the stain came out. I’d gladly stay again if I’m ever back in this beautiful area. I heartily recommend it.
