ibis Styles La Rochelle Centre les Minimes

The hotel was comfortable, staff were friendly, and the location was good. It’s good value as a B&B, though I didn’t try breakfast. I liked the idea of offering guests a free drink if they don’t ask to have their sheets changed. There weren’t many room amenities, though, and I think things like cotton buds and slippers are essential for a short stay.

The rooms are comfortable but simple, and good value. Air conditioning that actually works, helpful and friendly staff, a warm welcome, and parking on site. Breakfast was a little basic, but you can fill up. It’s a pleasant, safe walk into town. Great for a visit to La Rochelle, and I’d return.

The room felt roomy, clean and comfortable, and it was especially quiet on the second floor. Parking at the hotel costs extra, though there are free spaces on nearby streets. I'd definitely recommend it.

The rooms were roomy, and each bed came with two comfortable pillows. There was a dusty smell from the carpet, though. Breakfast had good bread, crepes and the usual French basics, but could use fresh fruit and vegetables, and the coffee could be better. Staff were friendly, and the price felt fair for the location. The hotel is in a peaceful area, about a 10-minute walk from Vieux port, close to the Gabut area, the Aquarium and the Musee Maritime. We found free parking on nearby streets. A nice touch is the housekeeping offer: for stays over two nights, you get a drink per person at the bar, such as draught beer, local wine, tea or coffee, for each day you skip housekeeping. There's also a dispenser for refilling bottles with cold water.
