The aquarium is right next door, and the port area is an easy walk or push from the hotel. There's plenty going on nearby for the whole family. As a wheelchair user, I often find hotels difficult, but this one has been great for me. The junior accessible sweet is spacious enough for my family and feels luxurious, more boutique than a basic accessible room. It's comfortable and worth every euro. The staff are genuinely understanding and do whatever they can to help. I always enjoy staying here.

The room was just right, but what really made the stay was the help at reception. I’d accidentally booked a different hotel and only realized when I arrived to check in. The receptionist was so kind, helped me sort out the mix-up, and even assisted with cancelling the wrong reservation. What could have been a stressful start turned into one of my best travel experiences. I’d recommend it.

We were upgraded to a prestige room overlooking the port, which was a lovely surprise since I’d mentioned my husband’s birthday when booking early. The local honey they left was a nice touch, and breakfast was delicious and plentiful, especially the bacon. The pool and terrace are beautiful, the location is amazing, and both the room decor and service felt five-star. Best four-star hotel I’ve stayed in. We’ll come back for several nights next time.

Reception were really welcoming, the location is good, and there’s secure parking plus a place to store bikes. The rooms are nice, though the pillows are rock hard. It would help to have room service or a snack menu, since the restaurant is pricey and limited. Also, the coffee shop wasn’t ready when I checked out early, so I couldn’t take a coffee for the journey. The biggest letdown was housekeeping: during my two-night stay the cleaners were in the hallway from 8am until 3 or 4pm, but my room was never tidied.
