We spent three nights in Le Chemin de Ronde for our honeymoon, up at the top of the castle, with amazing views from the windows. Jean and Chantal helped us plan each day, from suggestions to making reservations, and Jean's meals were exceptional. Chateau La Roque is a beautifully restored castle in the middle of Provence, run by a caring, thoughtful, lovely couple. It's a quiet, beautiful haven where they made us feel looked after like family.

Chantal et Jean Tomasino are what make this charming Chateau such a special place. They made us feel like the most important people in the world. The setting is beautiful, and the food and wine were truly delicious. This place is a gem, and I'd highly recommend it.

The rooms, building, and gardens are lovely, and we found the service and attention among the best we've experienced anywhere. We've stayed in quality accommodations across Provence, France, and internationally, so we have plenty to compare it with. Chateau La Roque is a place we'll return to as often as we can.

We spent three nights here and had a peaceful, quiet stay with wonderful views and great food. Jean and Chantell were amazing hosts, and Chantell helped us find some hidden gems away from the usual routes. We spent our days exploring Bonneaux, la coste, Menerbes, lourmorin, and other places. Breakfast and dinner at the hotel were exceptional, with local French food and an amazing view. 5 stars!

Chantal suggested Le Poste de Guet by email after asking what we needed. We wanted a view without too many steps, and the room ended up exceeding our expectations. It was bright and airy, with a huge, comfortably firm bed and just-right pillows. The spacious bathroom had a bath, separate wet shower room, toilet, and bidet, plus a window looking out over the valley. The grounds are roomy and well kept, and there is a pool, though we didn't use it. We wished we'd stayed longer than two nights. We ate in both nights, and the generous three-course meals, with cheese as a fourth, were delicious. We especially liked the autumn flavors in the second, vegetarian meal: pumpkin soup with mushrooms and chestnut, then cepes, girolles, slow-cooked artichokes, beans, and the sweetest carrots cooked in liquorice. From our first inquiry until we left, Chantal and Jean were wonderfully attentive hosts. If you're looking for a base in Provence, you couldn't do better.
