We had a memorable stay in a peaceful, well-equipped place with lovely decor and a sea-facing view. The location was ideal, and the price felt very fair. Highly recommended!

Le Pétrel Blanc was a lovely place for our family stay. The apartment was beautiful and tastefully decorated, and the view was splendid. We’ll be back!

The view is magnificent, and I liked the decor, so those are my two stars. The rest was a real disappointment. We had no contact with the owner: emails, a key box 5 km away for the parking badge, and a keypad to get into the accommodation initially, but no replies to messages. Maybe he didn’t think a response was needed once we’d paid. Here’s what we sent him. The place looked furnished and tastefully decorated at first, and the view was lovely once we finally raised the blind, which was extremely rusty and hard to move. It looked and smelled clean, but after walking around barefoot for a few minutes to unpack, our feet were gray with dust. Maintenance was clearly poor. There were long-standing water marks on the walls and ceilings in the shower room, toilet, and kitchen. The only untiled shower wall was beginning to rot, and by the next day the room’s underlying smell was obvious. The sink had no drain plug and a brown siphon. Insects covered the shelves, bar, and kitchen counter, as well as the toilet shelf and walls. One high cupboard was starting to rot too. The sofa bed wasn’t really a sofa bed. To lay out the mattresses on the dirty floor, we had to move the cushions, armchairs, coffee table, side table, and stools. The fridge wasn’t big enough for a family, its freezer was neglected and full of frost, and the door wouldn’t even close. Construction in the building started at 7:30 or 8 every morning and ruined our sleep. The neighbor apologized and said the owner must have known, since work on the second floor had been going on since February. Nearly €1,000 for a week in these conditions for four people is unacceptable. We have photos if needed. We booked directly with the host for a full week for three adults and a teenager, not through Airbnb for just one or two nights. Given the quality of the places you rent, we never expected such a letdown.
