Breakfast was excellent, and it was funny watching a young hotel employee guard our food on the patio from the seagulls while we went inside for coffee. The gentleman waited about five minutes for us, LOL. The staff were very nice, especially the front desk woman at check-in. She spoke perfect English and was very accommodating. We were Curio Guests in 332 for two nights and loved the stay, especially the incredible balcony views. A note for the hotel manager: the CURIO hotel sign on the main street is hard to see from a car. The gates are confusing too. A clear sign should tell guests to pull forward and wait for the arm to go up, and say, "HOTEL PARKING HERE" and "GUESTS PLEASE PULL FORWARD AND WAIT UNTIL GATE GOES UP". There's plenty of parking. As a diamond guest, I found this hotel excellent ❤️

The beach is stunning, with waves and birds creating a calming atmosphere, while the back street gets lively in summer with fairs, live bands and lots of restaurants. It's a great balance of energy and relaxation, and I can't wait to return. The staff were the real highlight. They were always smiling, friendly and helpful, making everything easy and enjoyable. My room was quiet, with a great bed and temperature controls I could set to my liking. The sauna was fantastic, and the indoor pool was just right when it was cold outside. A big thank you to the staff for their kindness and professionalism.

The restaurant serves good food at prices that compete well with nearby places, and I thought the food was better too. I had a splendid room with a beach and sea view, and the staff were welcoming and friendly. Parking was free and easy. This area may be less popular than places farther east. I barely heard any language other than French, but it's well worth a visit. A technical hiking and running path follows the peninsula's southern shore, turns back at the military base, and passes hidden coves where you can swim. It feels like a luxury property at a midmarket price.

The location is great, right by the beach, and the hotel is easy to reach from the train station by bus or Uber/Taxi. Getting to the beach means passing through the restaurant, though, which is awkward in wet swimwear around people eating. The rooms are small for the price. The shower curtain felt like a no-go at this price level, and the shower was just big enough for a 1.93m guy, with little space and water getting into the front area as the curtain moved. The toilet is separate, which is good, but to wash your hands you have to open the bathroom door and go to the shower area. The basic balcony is tiny, a tight squeeze even if you're slim. Unless you're on the third floor at the back or second at the front, there's no view. The pool and pool area are also very small, and the hammam was out of order. We'd told them weeks ahead we'd arrive early, but the room wasn't ready until 4 pm, the check-in time. Maybe that's forgivable, but I'd expect better at a star hotel. The conditioner, shampoo and body soap were almost empty. The restaurant handled our request for no reservation poorly, even though an online reservation for that same time was still available. They seated us in a plain area with undecorated tables, and food and other service took a VERY long time. We ordered room service breakfast for one day, but it arrived a day early and disrupted the one morning we'd planned to sleep in before an evening event. Apparently the service can't read its own system. During the event with the hotel and Navigator restaurant, staff took plates with food without checking, and cleared water and glasses 30 minutes before the official end. That's a clear no-go. Otherwise, service was the bare minimum.
