Chambres d'Hôtes Floromel

A quiet, friendly place with a very welcoming host, a spotless room and bathroom, and excellent quality meals. A lovely extra: Scrooge McDuck and Tigger, the house’s charming four-legged guests.

Dinner was delicious, and the owner let us try an excellent homemade elderflower aperitif. We enjoyed chatting with the owner and guests in another room. Breakfast was perfect and plentiful. The first person up can make their own coffee or tea. I know, I was awake at 5 a.m. 😂 The owner gets the food going as soon as it arrives. We’d planned our route to arrive at the stated time, and I don’t understand complaints about arrival times when they’re clearly given in all the emails. The gentleman was very friendly and helped me with a phone problem, and the hosts were incredibly attentive. The welcome was simple but warm, in a beautifully landscaped setting. Our room was a bit warm, though our host said air conditioning should be installed soon. All in all, a very pleasant overnight stay. Thank you to the owners.

A lovely guesthouse for a stopover, with everything done to make the stay pleasant. The evening meal was excellent and used local products. In short, they do all they can for guests’ satisfaction. Highly recommended.

The place was spotless, with real attention to detail, and the hosts were accommodating. We left early, but breakfast was ready and the coffee was hot. Thank you.
