The setting is very rural: just a small village, cows nearby, and hardly anyone around. The nearest larger town, Autan, is at least a 20-minute drive along a country road. We stayed with our family for a week in summer 2023, and the hosts, who own the chateau, were very friendly. The house felt comfortable, with a rustic interior and modern kitchen and bathrooms. It had several bedrooms, 2-3 bathrooms, a large dining room, a small terrace, a grill, a fireplace, and a well-equipped kitchen. There’s also a pool and a tennis court, though the court has a few potholes.

An antique house, beautifully furnished, with eight beds. The park is huge, with its own pool and tennis court, and cows and a dog around.

The huge park is lovely for peace and quiet. There’s a pool and a somewhat worn tennis court, and you can rent the annex for sleeping.
