Priscilla suggested a gentler way to reach St. Guilhem, which made a big difference. We also took her advice and ate at El Rancho next door, and really enjoyed it. Gazelle's gîte is perfectly placed for a stop along the way.

We found the owner so friendly and welcoming, and the nearby Le Rancho was a treat, especially the delicious Angus beef. The gîte itself is spotless, comfortable, and carefully looked after, with a tasteful renovation. Easily the best place we stayed on the whole Saint Guihlem Way hiking trail. Highly recommend.

The homemade breakfast was superb, and our host gave us really helpful advice for the next part of our trip, including suggesting we book dinner close by. The cottage is lovely and decorated with great taste.

Everything was ready when we arrived, and the cottage had what we needed for both adults and children. It felt warm and worked well for our family weekend. There was plenty of room, with tasteful decor, and our welcome included thoughtful ideas for walks. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend it.

The GR trail starts right at the gîte, and Cirque de Navacelles is close by. El Rancho is just a five-minute walk away. We had a peaceful stay among nature and horses, with a very warm welcome. The room was clean and comfortable, breakfast included homemade products, and we could use a well-equipped kitchen.
