The hosts were so friendly and helpful, and breakfast was quite satisfying. We only spent one night, but the bright bedroom was spotless and comfortable. There’s also a lovely garden with a splendid pool and jacuzzi.

For four nights, this was a perfect getaway. We spent time reading and sunbathing in the chateau yard, and Nicolas & André were happy to recommend and book good restaurants in nearby villages. We also visited a market and Château du Champ de Bataille, cycled around the countryside, and went horseback riding at a nearby ranch. Adorable place, wonderful hosts. Highly recommended!

Nicolas and Andre' are fantastic hosts. It’s a wonderful Chateau, and I’ll definitely stay there again.

The only snag in our deluxe double room was that the showerhead holder was broken. Otherwise, the room inside the château was spacious and very comfortable, with a huge bathroom equipped with everything we needed and lovely views from the windows. The setting is well located and secluded enough to enjoy the quiet Normandy countryside. Our charming hosts were always available if we needed anything or wanted somewhere to eat nearby. Breakfast in the veranda was generous and varied, with fresh fruit and homemade jams. It rained when we arrived in Normandy, so we couldn’t make use of the pool. Still, our one night was a lovely change of scene in this unusual, charming place, perfect for a short romantic weekend.
