The food was delicious, generous, and made with local ingredients and care. It felt authentic, and the breakfast the next morning was hearty and tasty too. We stayed overnight and really appreciated the little touches in the room. What made our Valentine’s Day getaway special was the warm, family feeling. The owners and waiter seemed sincere and keen to do things well, and their kindness and attention really showed. We felt right at home and wholeheartedly recommend the place. 🌿

We came back on the 15th at noon, before my father’s funeral, and the staff handled our changing group size with such kindness. We were first 6, then 5, then 7, and finally 11 at the table. The meal was very good, the portions generous, and everything arrived on time. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for sharing that time with us. This is an establishment we’re always glad to visit when we’re in the area. The rooms are clean and quiet, there’s a lovely terrace and a bright dining room, and the food is fresh and well prepared. The blueberry tart with shortcrust pastry and light blueberry jelly is also very good. The owners and staff are welcoming, friendly, smiling, attentive, and genuinely concerned about their customers’ comfort. Congratulations on the excellent fries! We’re happy to see the team and look forward to returning. I also think the ridiculous comment from someone named Nadia a year ago was unnecessary. She must have mistaken this place for another one, which is a shame. We wish the whole team a wonderful summer.

The meal ended wonderfully with the tart for dessert. Before that, the mussels and fries were delicious, the wine was excellent, and the mayonnaise with the fries was simply divine. Virginie and her husband were very friendly hosts. We’ll be back!

The receptionist was friendly, helpful, and accommodating, and breakfast had pastries, bread, hot drinks, juice, plus savory items if requested. The hotel is a little older, but we were pleasantly surprised by the stay. Our room was spotless, with lots of thoughtful extras: bathrobes, slippers, shower gel, a washcloth, razor, comb, and more. That’s rare for a two-star hotel. The restaurant was a pleasure too, with impeccable service, very good cocktails, and a waiter worthy of a gourmet restaurant. I noticed that every drink came in the right glass, whatever I ordered. If I had to mention one thing, I’d add a box of tissues to the room. Otherwise, everything was perfect.
