Hotel Restaurant Relais De La Poste - Strasbourg Nord

The anniversary surprise was such a lovely touch: a little candle with the plate of pralines, which we'd already tucked into 😜 before the photo, plus grape sorbets that were subtle, delicious, and refreshing. We had a wonderful meal at Le Relais de la Poste in La Wantzenau, and every bite felt like its own discovery. Michelin-starred chef Thomas Koebel and his passionate team make local, seasonal ingredients shine, balancing bold flavors with refinement. The dishes were expertly prepared, and both the à la carte and set weekday menu came with remarkable service and perfectly matched wine pairings. Every detail felt carefully considered, with a personal touch that was both demanding and welcoming. The waitstaff were attentive, discreet, smiling, and caring, and added a lot to the convivial atmosphere. A special thank you to Mr. Lionel Cron for his kind presence, availability, and courtesy throughout the meal. We won't soon forget this enchanting experience.

The welcome was warm, and the service attentive and caring. We really enjoyed the pleasant atmosphere, delicious food, and wines. We highly recommend this restaurant.

We felt completely at ease throughout a truly lovely lunch. The service was superb, always friendly and attentive, and the recommended wine paired perfectly with the excellent five-course menu. Every course was a delight.

We celebrated a birthday here with 17 adults and 7 children. Having a small room for the children made it easy to keep an eye on them. This restaurant has been part of our family for generations, and we got married here 20 years ago. It's had several owners over the years, and the current owner is fantastic. He brings a touch of Alsace to every dish while keeping the culinary standard very high. The service is excellent too, and the products are exceptional and unique. Thank you.
