Even with the weather being less than ideal, our first night in a bubble was a great time. The owner made us feel very welcome, and the roomy bubbles were well kept. The showers were spotless, and that heated mattress was so comfortable. Breakfast was a lovely family-style meal.

We booked all three bubbles for three couples, including my partner and me. The bubbles aren't very large, but sleeping under the stars was the point. It was chilly outside, so we needed to warm ours up; once we were cozy under the duvet, we could enjoy the starry sky. We had an excellent night. The hostess was welcoming and helpful, and the setting is beautiful. Breakfast was really good and plentiful. The evening meal may be a bit overpriced, though. I’d recommend the stay overall.

The homemade meals from the chef were superb, and we received an excellent welcome. The bubbles are spotless, clear overhead for watching the stars, and opaque around the sides so you can sleep peacefully. It was wonderful to spend the night looking up at the sky. With a pool and jacuzzi in a peaceful, beautiful setting, it’s a lovely place to relax.

The heated mattress was a real plus in bad weather, and the bed itself was comfortable. The welcome was friendly, and having access to a room for showers and storing our things was handy. We could also bring our own meal and eat beside the bubble without being disturbed, which I enjoyed. I’d pictured a fully transparent bubble out in a field, so I was disappointed. The bubbles here are semi-transparent, which makes sense when everyone is close together, but there isn't much privacy. It may depend on which one you get, since I noticed they weren't all facing each other. There was confusion about whether we’d ordered dinner, after a mistake in the reservation led to several emails. On arrival, I didn’t remember ordering it and had already made other plans. I said I must have forgotten, since it wasn’t in the first email, and that we didn’t want the meal. The next day as we were leaving, she reminded me about it again, which I really didn’t appreciate. I wish she’d sent all the details in one complete email from the beginning, because I hadn’t saved the messages and couldn’t remember them. That didn’t feel like appropriate host behavior, and it left a bitter taste after the stay. I won't be going back.
