Chambres d'hôtes - Domaine de la Grangeotte

We were greeted with very cold drinks when we arrived on August 13th, which was much appreciated in the extreme heat. The welcoming couple served tasty meals made with products they had prepared themselves, and the evening felt a bit like being with family. The village is small and typical, with stone houses and stone roofs. Excellent value for money. We'll be back!!!

The guesthouse is wonderfully peaceful, set in a quiet village, and the bedding was superb. The homemade breakfast in the morning was absolutely divine, such a lovely way to start the day. Our host was warm and accommodating from the start, too. I did leave with my room keys, and the host was very understanding and super cool about getting them back. I wasn't even scolded. The whole place has a warm, friendly atmosphere.

The owners can pick you up at the end of the day and take you back in the morning, which works really well for the Camino de Santiago nearby. We've been spending a week here every year for the past four years, and we love it. It's peaceful, the meals are good, and the beds are comfortable. Don't hesitate to stay for a night or more. Thanks for making us feel so welcome each time. It's perfect.

I had a GREAT week with Astrid and Francis, and the time just flew by. It's been two years since I was here, and they're still the same down-to-earth, welcoming, caring people, always ready with a kind word and a smile. Even with the health crisis, sharing breakfast with you two was a pleasure. Your good humor and smiles did me so much good. Keep going, even if every day won't be easy. You're the BEST!!!!! Stay just as you are, because we need people who love what they do, and it shows. See you soon, and take good care of yourselves and your children.
