We’ll be coming back to see the area again, and to catch up with the ever-helpful team. The meals were a real highlight: lunches and dinners need to be booked ahead, and everything we tried was the best food we tasted in the region. Drinks, both soft and alcoholic, were reasonably priced. Breakfast is served at whatever time suits you, with good food and coffee. The rooms are clean, nicely decorated, and a good size, and the outdoor pool is clean and more than enough for the guests. A fantastic place to stay, with a lot more to offer than a B&B.

The sauna and jacuzzi area are worth trying, and Mukoi gives excellent massages with expert, qualified hands. This beautifully restored farmhouse sits in the lovely Périgord countryside. The owners, Mukoi and Sylvain, are welcoming and friendly. Our clean, spacious room and bathroom were practical, and both breakfast and the table d'hôte were up to the mark.

I keep thinking about coming back to this magical place, the kind of discovery that stays with you long after a trip. It’s a charming building tucked into nature, with the peace and quiet I wanted. The welcome was warm and attentive, the food excellent, and the massages exceptional. The chef is just as talented at massage as at cooking, and it was the best massage of my life. I can’t wait to have it again. You can book a bed and breakfast stay or rent an apartment, and there’s a seasonal pool and jacuzzi.

Sylvain was always around to help or offer advice, and the welcome was just perfect. This is a lovely, peaceful little place, and the pool was a welcome break from the heat. I really appreciated that the chef adapts the food for allergies. Go and check it out!

The Polynesian food was absolutely delicious, and everyone was so friendly that we felt at home right away. We had an excellent stay in Potofayol, with a warm welcome and a relaxed atmosphere. Definitely a place not to miss.
