We won’t ever go back. We had a curfew, and at 10 p.m. the host came over with her watch in hand to remind us. She stayed beside us through the evening while we celebrated my grandmother’s 74th birthday and my goddaughter’s 5th, including the meal and drinks. Her manner of speaking was disrespectful and aggressive, and she seemed bipolar. A place to avoid for a family vacation if you want some peace and quiet. There are plenty of other places to rent.

There wasn’t enough cutlery for ten people, and the owner came to switch on the dishwasher for us, as if we didn’t know how to use it 😂. She shares the space with guests without asking and secretly monitors them. Then she comes to tell us we can’t make noise or talk after 10 p.m. The owner is very, very unpleasant. Run away!!!!!! Bipolar person!

The place itself is nice, but the host is detestable and unpleasant. Her appalling personality ruined our small family gathering, so I absolutely don’t recommend it. Avoid at all costs!!!!

The dining room is huge, breakfast very generous, and the products are local and homemade. Parking is spacious and far enough from the windows that there’s no noise. The price is very reasonable, and it’s a lovely place to unwind by the woods. We got a very warm welcome, and the Squirrel room was clean, pleasant, and roomy. The only small drawback was the soundproofing, since you could almost hear the people next door. Still, you fall asleep quickly!
