A good place to spend a few days with the family!

The website makes it look like paradise, but the reality was a disaster. The garden and hedges were neglected, the inside cleaning was minimal, and the dishes were basic and dirty. We couldn’t sit outside because the table and chairs weren’t usable. It’s expensive for what you get. For example, you have to go to reception and then outside to get Wi-Fi, because the manager is almost never there. Even on a tight budget, I wouldn’t recommend this place. I won’t be keeping this address.

The common areas and green spaces on each pitch were wasteland, and that wasn’t even all of it. Paint was deteriorating everywhere, the bedding creaked whenever I moved even my little toe, and the front door wouldn’t close. The door to the room with two beds couldn’t be opened from the inside when the second bed was in place. We only spent one short night there, but fortunately. I don’t understand how anyone can rent premises in that condition. It’s a shame, because there are so many beautiful things to visit in the area.

I had a very pleasant vacation rental in July 2016. It’s quiet and not overlooked, with no camping-style entertainment, so it’s ideal if you want peace and quiet. There’s a convenience store five minutes away. The welcome was warm and friendly, and the renovation was done with taste. I stayed in the yellow 3-room Penty apartment, which seemed ideal for a family of 4, though I didn’t see the others. It had a small covered terrace. Inside felt like home, clean and warm. It wasn’t very large, but it was well laid out and enough as a holiday base to stay dry if it rained. The apartment had been repainted in April 2016, and there was still some outdoor work to do, but it was planned. It’s a Penty village in the village, a 2-star property, maybe soon to be 3. Everything had been completely renovated and brought up to date: new programmable radiators in every room, new bedding, duvets and sheets provided, and all the walls, floors, and ceilings had just been redone. There was a kitchenette and fridge in my room. The bathroom and toilet were very clean, with new tiles and continuous ventilation. The high windows let in less light depending on the exposure, but it wasn’t disturbing. People can meet in the main room. Wi-Fi was available at reception, with network expansion planned for later.

An employee named Suzanna was unpleasant and didn’t remember what had been in the small house when I arrived. There was garbage everywhere, and the place is very far from the endless weddings on weekends, which meant a lot of noise. I don’t recommend it. At 450 euros per month, it’s expensive for what it is.
