After 20 years, I thought it was time to share what I think. 😁 I was among the first, back when Google barely existed. The rooms are welcoming, and the setting is idyllic. The food is carefully sourced through an exceptionally short supply chain, maybe 50 meters? 😂 The real icing on the cake is Jacqueline and Thierry, who make you feel right at home. In short, it’s the very best.

The food is delicious, and the people are warm and friendly. It’s a refreshing, invigorating place, and the welcome is wonderful. I’d been saying for years that I needed to go to Chintre. I should’ve gone sooner. Don’t hesitate to visit!

After days out sightseeing, the heated pool was just right at the end of the day. We had an unforgettable week during the August 2022 heatwave. Jacqueline and Thierry are delightful, and the value for money is unbeatable. Meals made with produce from their farm were delicious, with aperitifs and unlimited wine, so nothing was missing. We highly recommend this little corner of paradise on earth, whether you’re traveling alone or with family.

Our family suite worked well for us and our three children, who are now teenagers. It can sleep four children plus their parents. The large pool and its new terrace make a lovely place to relax on hot days. This was our seventh visit to Le Chintre, and each one has left us with unforgettable memories. Seeing Jacqueline and Thierry again is always a pleasure. They’re incredibly friendly, attentive to guests, and have great suggestions for things to discover around Le Chintre. Each evening, we enjoyed a culinary explosion made with produce from their farm, along with convivial moments around the large communal table with the hosts and other vacationers, all at an unbeatable price. We can’t wait to come back for an eighth visit!
