Hôtel La Tissandière

Ludovic shared lots of useful local information and was a great host. The rooms are bright and nicely done, and dinner was excellent. We couldn't have asked for a better stay. I'd come back on our next Camino.

The hotel is 3.7 km from the GR65, but the extra effort was worth it. We were greeted so warmly that we felt at home. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, and our very comfortable room looked out over the church. The little town is quaint, with a pharmacy, supermarket, and bakery where you can pick up essentials for the next day's walk.

I was already on my second week of the Via Podiensis when I stayed here from May 7 to 8, 2025. The room was clean, the sheets immaculate, and the food lovely. I hadn't realized the hotel was 4 km off the trail, and after walking 24 km that day I called Ludovico. He kindly came to get me, then showed me a shorter way back to the path. He does the cleaning, cooking, and everything in between. His kindness and hospitality made this the experience that stood out most on my walk, and I still remember how welcome he made me feel.

The hotel has a lovely boutique feel and is beautifully located near the church. The owner puts real care into making guests comfortable and their stay convenient. Our room was very clean, the atmosphere was nice, and the service was spot on. Breakfast was perfect, with pastries and eggs made to order. I highly recommend staying here.
