The breakfast was really good, and there are some nice restaurants nearby. The maison is cosy, with a really cool swimming pool. There’s not much within walking distance apart from a church and a chateau, so you need a car to get around.

Olivia looked after us attentively all weekend, and the homemade breakfast was generous and delicious. We stayed in a charming guesthouse in a beautiful 19th-century residence, with lovely rooms and tasteful decor. It’s centrally placed for visiting the Médoc wine region.
