The rooms were clean, ready for guests, and each had its own little touches. Having everyone stay right at the event site made the wedding weekend easy, and the onsite team was quick to help with setup and logistics. Barrenques Castle has an authentic feel, with lovely gardens and grounds. We were there with friends and family for a wedding, and the Domaine made a great base for the whole event. Everyone was talking about what a great time it was.

Our guests felt comfortable and kept telling us how beautiful the place was. The wedding itself went smoothly, with discreet, attentive support and a magical atmosphere. From our first contact, the team was warm, professional, and thoughtful. Clémence guided us through the planning and was flexible, and Nicolas helped throughout the weekend. We’d happily recommend le Chateau des Barrenques to couples looking for a welcoming, elegant wedding venue.

The rooms had insects and cobwebs, and they were badly maintained. There was a strong unpleasant smell in the groom’s room, and its air conditioning didn’t work. We held our wedding at Château des Barrenques and were really disappointed by the unprofessional, unhelpful staff on site. For what it costs, it didn’t meet basic standards. I wouldn’t recommend it. Stay away.

At my best mate’s wedding at Château des Barrenques, I spent some time in the groom’s room, and it was in awful shape. The bathroom was dirty, the carpet stained, and there were cobwebs. It also smelled bad and the AC wasn’t working. Grooms should steer clear of that room, and honestly, I’d avoid the venue too.

The garden and swimming pool were lovely, and breakfast was just right. The beds were wonderful, and the rooms are beautifully done. Barrenques sits right among lavender fields, with heavenly scents all around. Staying there felt like being in a wonderland. I’ll be back!
