The balcony views are spectacular, though the rooms are basic and can be a little hot. We spent a week here in early February, and staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Dave and Gary were brilliant managers for our group of four. Dave was great with boot fitting. For once, I could ski in hired boots without discomfort because he took time to get the fit right. Breakfast could be better. Everyone preferred the continental breakfast days, but it ran out quickly. A great trip, and I'll keep recommending the place. Hope to stay again soon. Thanks again, guys. Getting checked in was quick and efficient. Our rooms had already been allocated on the transfer minibus, and staff carried our bags up. There were tea, coffee, and cakes waiting for guests. The rooms were very spacious for France, all en-suite, with plenty of storage. You can ski out and back along a narrow path to the Grizzly and Vallandry lifts.

Our hosts were very helpful all week, sharing tips about good places to eat and ski. The three course dinners were great, with plenty of wine. The chalet sits by the La Foret run down to the main Vallandry ski lift. Rooms are a decent size and cleaned daily, and there's a small bar open during the day and evening.

The staff were fantastic, and the catered breakfasts were hearty and well prepared. Dinner from the catered menu was a bit lacking, though lunch from the a la carte menu at the attached Le Caverns pub was very good.
