The only real snag was having no reception at the property, which made check-in, storing bags, and checking out a little awkward. Otherwise, we had a great stay and would happily come back. We were six people at L'Oree Des Neiges in January, and the apartments are right by the slopes, close to the gondola, shops, and restaurants. Staff were friendly, quick to respond, and sorted out little problems like the WiFi and a blocked sink straight away.

The view was nice, but the rest of the apartment felt old and unclean. It didn't look like it had been cleaned properly, and the kitchen was dirty. The pots and pans weren't clean either, and they didn't have a flat surface. WiFi was available but the signal was almost nonexistent. We were four people and got only two logins, so only two of us could connect.

Our apartment was freezing when we arrived, and some problems stayed with us for the whole week. The heating, lights, ski room, and WiFi weren't working properly. There was no longer a reception, and we couldn't use the lounge or relaxation area. The staff on site were friendly and reachable, and tried to help, but couldn't fix these deeper problems. After our stay, CGH sent automated marketing messages but never gave a real answer to our several complaint emails. After a much better experience with CGH in 2024, this stay at Résidence Orée des Neiges was especially disappointing. It wasn't acceptable for the price or the promises made. CGH used to be much better, which is a real shame.

The MGM residence has been rebranded, and the flats are well designed. It's about a 5 minute walk to the main Vallandry slope. There's garage parking, extensive caves, laundry, and an on-site concierge. You can also use the spa and large pool at the main residence, about a 10 minute walk away.

Had a really enjoyable stay in a spacious, well equipped apartment with a lovely view. Thanks for a great visit. The WiFi connection and login could be better.
