We only stayed two nights, but the place was lovely and went beyond what I expected. The staff were wonderful, and the rooms clean and comfortable. Dinner was especially good, and breakfast was nice too. I would've preferred a full buffet, since you have to say ahead what you want and ordering everything gets quite pricy. We also missed that they'd charged us twice for breakfast for four people, though we had it only once. Judging by how helpful the staff were, I'm sure they'd have sorted it out if we'd noticed before leaving. I'd highly recommend it.

We came for one night in August 2024 while hiking the GR5. The restaurant deserves five stars: lovely setting, delicious food, and super friendly service. The hotel gets two. Our room was comfortable and clean, but breakfast wasn't included in the price, which felt pretty venal. It was boiling in the room because the air con wasn't working. They also wouldn't let us use a washing machine for some of our clothes, which is ridiculous for a hotel on a walking trail, and not something I've encountered elsewhere. The receptionist was pretty off with us when she tried to charge us for a dinner we'd already paid for.

We arrived very late for a one night stay with our family of four, including children aged 8 and 10. The hotel was very quiet, with solid walls and carpeted corridors that kept noise down. Our two double rooms were roomy and clean, and I liked the sturdy doors that were still easy to operate. Heating was comfortable, not too hot or cold. The hotel was spotlessly clean, and staff and management were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was simple but generous: bread, jams, plenty of tea, coffee, hot chocolate, or juice, plus cereals including granola, nuts, and dried fruit. You can ask for bacon and eggs or cheese, and the yoghurt was very posh. We didn't eat in the restaurant, though the menu looked nice and not overly complicated.

We drove to Le Coches and Les Arc, both ski resorts easy to reach within 30 min. At the hotel, we had a good sized room for two, with a west-facing balcony, and there was a ski room with boot heaters. The service was very friendly and the food excellent. Lovely hotel.
