We picked it as a halfway stop on our way to the Alps, and what a find. It's a charming historic hotel with updated rooms and secure parking, though getting the car into the parking area will test your driving skills. The restaurant is superb and punches well above its weight.

We've had lunch here a few times and every visit has been a great experience. The menu, food, desserts and wines are excellent, the service and atmosphere are superb, and the prices are very reasonable. We'll definitely be back.

Dinner was the highlight for us, with excellent food and service. The hotel is a beautiful boutique place full of history, and the cuisine is amazing. We had a superior double room, as pictured, which was well appointed and perfectly adequate. Parking can be tricky if you haven't booked ahead, but we took it as part of the hotel's charm. We loved our stay and would certainly recommend it.

Good food, friendly staff and a clean, tidy hotel with plenty of character.

The hotel had that old-world beauty that's so hard to find these days. The town and its people were charming and kind too. This was our favorite stop on our whole road trip across France.
