Chateau De Porthos

The food, the friendly neighbors selling delicious Pyrenean cheese, the restaurants and cider house all added to the week. We had a lovely family Christmas here, filling every room, and each one had its own charm, from the furniture to the curtains and tapestries. Since it was winter, we didn't make much use of the beautiful garden, but there was still the sauna, hot tub, two pools, French and American, and piano. Skiing was under an hour away by car, or you could take the village bus for cheaper lift fees. The Wi-Fi worked fine, even for the teenagers. We left with lovely memories and hope to come back in summer for bike rides.
