Really awesome!

The meals were excellent, and everything was simple but worked well. The owner is an absolute gem, incredibly kind, and there's a lovely teddy bear of a dog too. Definitely an address to remember, I'd recommend it to anyone.

Isabelle's kindness, warm welcome, availability, and thoughtful touches made our Christmas stay even more special. The natural setting was wonderfully peaceful, and the yurts were comfortable, well insulated, and equipped for winter. We had a magical time in this unique place and would absolutely recommend it for a Christmas surrounded by nature. We'll definitely return.

The owner was friendly and accommodating, and the yurt itself was quite nice. Most of the produce came from Mariposa's vegetable garden, and nothing went to waste: there were pots for finishing off the leftover vegetarian dishes on offer. The letdown for my partner and me was the red yurt, which didn't have a bed like the orange and blue ones. It had only a bed frame on legs on the floor. That was fine for our three nights, though. We spent the days with my childhood friend and former neighbor, so I can't say what activities are available. We did notice that the ski slopes are easy to reach in winter, and yoga retreats are held there too.
