La Miellerie

Claudine and Paul made us feel so welcome. They’re warm, attentive, and lovely to talk with. The room was roomy, with a fully equipped kitchenette, and the flower-filled terrace is such a peaceful place to sit and unwind. Breakfast was generous and delicious, with fresh fruit salad, homemade pastries and yogurt, bread, and viennoiseries. A perfect stay, and a big thank you to our hosts! 👍😀

The homemade breakfast was a real treat, with honey, jam, and cake, and the owners were lovely. We only stayed one night on a Christmas gift trip, but the peaceful, beautifully landscaped grounds, with trees, flowers, and even beehives, made us wish we could stay longer. We received a very warm welcome, and would love to come back.

Claudine and Pol have made a peaceful green retreat, with a garden that feels like a museum. The only interruption is the tiny bees going about their work. The Honey House lives up to its name, and depending on the season you can taste honey from spring or summer flowers. The cottage sits beautifully beside the hosts’ own home, and the warmth of their welcome matches its quality. It’s also a great base for exploring the Pink Granite Coast and nearby area.

With just one room, the place has a homely feel. The owners are friendly, attentive, and open, and they bring a generous, delicious breakfast right to your room. Their own honey is delicious too.
